As principal, Geoffrey has traveled extensively to the Peoples Republic of China over the past 20 years and in recognition of his work there, in 2004 he was awarded Visiting Professor at Jinzhou Medical University, Liaoning Province. He has since been made visiting professor at the China Agricultural University in Beijing.
Geoffrey was also involved in the first large-scale shipment of dairy heifers to China in October 2001, and in 2004 was instrumental in drafting the original Memorandum Of Understanding between the Australian Holstein Friesian Association and the Dairy Association of China.
With this experience and knowledge, Garsa Livestock Exporters was formed after recognizing the need for an organization to lead the way in ensuring the quality of livestock exported to destination markets.
